My little wiggle butt doggo can't squish herself out of this harness and there's a cute little handle if I need to grab her quickly. Best harness for frenchies. My girl is 12.8kg with no extra weight on her, just a little ball of muscle, and I have the small size and have the chest strap as small as it goes and the girth strap almost as loose as it goes if you are having trouble deciding which size.
